A lovely plant for pollinators that has a long flowering season from mid summer right through to October.  Rounded blue-purple pin-cushion flower heads from June to October. Attracts a wide variety of butterflies and bees and is the foodplant of the Marsh Fritillary Butterfly which is in decline.
