Iris 'Variegated Yellow'

A cultivar of the native Yellow Flag iris, its long erect leaves are striped green and pale-green to yellow until they mature into the summer months when they lose their variegation, and then can look similar to the Yellow flag. Yellow flowers June-July.  A vigorous grower so best contain in baskets in smaller ponds, and then split once crowded to maintain flowering.

Height: 100-150cm

Planting position: Marginal up to 10cm
