Brooklime (Veronica beccabunga) is an evergreen creeping edging plant with pretty blue flower spikes that rise in pairs from the leaf base May-Sept. A valuable British native plant providing egg laying sites for adult dragonfly. Ok in shallow water but thrives best in damp boggy soil at the pond margin and also grows in shallow streams. RHS Perfect for Pollinators.
