Common spike-rush (Eleocharis palustris) also know as Creeping spike-rush is a mat forming British native sedge that spreads by a creeping rhizome. It produces brown egg-shaped seed heads with fine wispy white flower petals from June to August.
Height: 30-60cm
Planting position: Marginal plant up to 10cm full sun or partial shade.
Form: 9cm in pots
Recommended basket size min./ideal: 2 litre round/3 litre hexagonal
