Daylily (Hemorocallis) ‘Golden Chimes’ is semi-evergreen and produces masses of small rich yellow flowers with reddish-brown backs from July to August above bushy green narrow strap like foliage.  Like all daylilies the flowers last just a day but are quickly replaced by new ones. Remove spent blooms to encourage new flowers and once all flowers on a stem are over cut the stem back to ground level. A tough and easy to grow plant it likes moist well drained soil but will tolerate dry periods once established.
