Daylily (Hemorocallis) ‘Mini Pearl’ is a smaller cultivar that produces masses of small pretty ruffled trumpet-shaped flowers which are melon to blush pink with a lemon to green throat from July to August. Like all daylilies the flowers last just a day but are quickly replaced by new ones. Remove spent blooms to encourage new flowers and once all flowers on a stem are over cut the stem back to ground level. A tough and easy to grow plant it likes moist well drained soil but will tolerate dry periods once established.
