A collection of ornamental pond plants for a pond of approximately 25 sq. mtrs (275 sq ft) with marginal shelves up 15m (50 ft) long 50cm wide and a depth of 15-25cm.  The deep water area of the pond should preferably be at least 60cm (24in) deep.  Unlike the smaller collection we don’t offer options for baskets, soil and gravel as 1 and 2 litre baskets as standard are likely to be a little small for this size of pond.  We would be happy to provide a bespoke quote for these tailored to the plants selected for the collection.

The collection will consist of the following plants:

5 Deep Water plants including 3 water lilies
25 Oxygenators
60 Assorted marginals

And will include a selection of ornamental pond plants for example:

Water hawthorn, Water lily, Iris laevigata, Iris versicolor, Iris louisiana, White marsh marigold, Double marsh marigold, Bog arum, Barred horsetail, Sweet galingale, Zebra rush, Chameleon plant, Lobelia cardinalis, Lobelia ‘Queen Victoria’, Lobelia siphilitica, Lobelia siphilitica alba, White skunk cabbage, Small reed mace, Cyperus sedge, Mimulus ringens, Zantedeschia (Green Goddess/Crowborough/Marshmallow/Kiwi Blush), Apache beads, Blue pickerel weed, White pickerel weed, White water forget-me-not, Fibre optic plant, Hornwort, Willow moss,  Water soldier, Water starwort and Water crowfoot.

Plants will be supplied in 9cm pots and bare root apart from the deep water plants with the Water lilies supplied in 3 litre baskets and Water hawthorn in 1 litre baskets.  The 9cm plants will need to be potted up into larger aquatic baskets unless being planted directly in the bed of a natural pond.

We don’t offer options of baskets, soil and gravel for this collection as the size of the baskets for this size of pond can vary so much depending on budget and preferences for planting.  We are happy to advise and quote separately for this if  baskets soil and gravel are required which would be at a significant discount to our normal prices.
