Iris ‘Gerald Darby’ is a tall strong growing water iris notable for the purple staining at the base of its leaves and dark purple flower stems. It has violet purple flowers with a yellow flash at the base and dark veins during June and July with each stem producing 3-4 flowers.

Planting position: Marginal plant up to 10cm
Form: 1 or 2 litre in an aquatic basket -please select size below
Recommended basket size min./ideal: 3.5 litre round/5 litre square
(Recommended basket sizes are for potting up 9cm (0.5 litre) plants only as these are supplied in solid pots. Larger sized plants are already in aquatic baskets so can go straight in the pond, however they may need potting up or splitting at some point)
