Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria) is a tall-ish British native native perennial plant with lots of small fluffy fragrant creamy-white flowers from June to August. It is an excellent plant for pollinators including bees moths and hoverflies and is the food plant for the larvae of several types of moth. The seeds are also eaten by finches.
