A collection of 10 native plants for marginal planting in partly shady areas to eventually cover 2 – 2.5m of marginal shelves.  These plants will be happy where they are not in full sun all day with Brooklime Fool’s watercress and Bog bean the least of the sun worshippers!

The plants will be selected from our range of native marginal plants and may include:

Brooklime, Forget-me-not, Soft rush, Hard rush,  Cotton grass, Fool’s watercress, Reed sweet grass, Branched bur reed, Lesser spearwort, Greater spearwort, Bog bean, Yellow loosestrife,  Water plantain, Bog arum, Creeping jenny, Sweet flag, Yellow flag, Gypsywort, Pendulous sedge, Marsh marigold, Pennyroyal and Water mint.

Please use the customer comments box on the checkout page to let us know the approximate surface area of your pond so we can ensure we select appropriate plants for your size of pond.

We will endeavour to supply as much variety as possible with a minimum of five different types of plant in each pack

Plants will be supplied  in 9cm pots except for the Bog bean which is bare root.

This collection is available without planting baskets with baskets only or as a complete package including soil and aquatic gravel -please select  from “Collection options” box below.

Planting in baskets you would need to purchase 15 litres of soil and 1.75 litres of gravel.  If the baskets option is selected we will supply a mixture of approx 50/50 1 and 2 litre baskets with the 2 litre baskets for the taller/larger growing plants.
