A collection of ornamental plants which are suitable for planting up a half barrel with a diametre of approx 70cm to create a small water feature.  Note that depending on the depth of the barrel you may need to support the baskets on bricks to ensure the correct planting depths.

The collection will consist of the following plants:

1 dwarf or small Water lily (deep water)
1 Oxygenator
6 Assorted marginals

And will include a good selection of native and non-native plants from the following list:

Small reedmace, Barred horsetail, White marsh marigold, Double marsh marigold, Iris laevigata (white, blue), Iris louisiana (Black Gamecock, Ann chowning), Forget-me-not (white or blue), White pickerel, Typha gracilis, Hard rush, Houttuynia (Chameleon and Boo-Boo), Spearmint, Golden club.

Plants are supplied in 9cm pots and bare root with the lily in a 1 litre basket.  The 9cm plants will need to be potted up to a larger aquatic basket.

Planting in baskets you would need to purchase approx 7.5 litres of soil and 1.2 litres of gravel.  If the baskets option is selected we will supply a mixture of  three 1 and three 2 litre baskets with the 2 litre baskets for the larger/taller plants.
