Pond planting socks are ideal for shallow, uneven and sloping pond marginal shelves where baskets may be a little unstable or would stick out of the water.  They can also be curved to follow the contours of circular ponds.  They are ideal for edging and low growing marginal plants where exposed pond liners need to be covered.  Suitable for many pond plants except for the larger or more vigorous ones which are best planted in individual baskets or bags.  This sock is the larger of the two socks we do and holds around 15 litres of aquatic soil.  They are manufactured in the UK from recycled polypropylene fleece, which is fish safe and non-rot.

Allow 3 to 5 plants per sock depending on ultimate size of the plant and density required or how quickly you want it to look established.
