A collection of native pond plants plus a beautiful (non-native) dwarf Water lily suitable for ‘Puddles’ about 1 metre square.  The deepest part of the pond should have a min. depth of 26cm for the lily.  The marginal shelves should be at least 15cm wide and 15cm deep to accommodate the planting baskets and are assumed to be approx 2m in length.

The collection will consist of the following plants:

1 Pygmaea waterlily either red, pale yellow or white

1 Oxygenator

8 Marginal plants

The plants will be selected from our range of native plants and may include:

Hornwort, Willow moss, Water crowfoot, Water starwort, Brooklime, Cotton grass, Yellow loosestrife, Marsh marigold, Lesser Spearwort, Hard rush, Penny Royal, Forget-me-not, Hair grass, Mare’s tail, Lesser water plantain, Marsh woundwort, Gypsywort, Creeping jenny and Square stemmed St Johns Wort.

We will endeavour to supply as much variety as possible with a minimum of  five different types of plant in each pack

Marginal Plants are supplied in 9cm pots with the lily in a 1 litre basket and the oxygenator bare root.

This collection is available without planting baskets with baskets only or as a complete package including soil and aquatic gravel -please select  from “Collection options” box below.

Planting in baskets you would need to purchase 9 litres of soil and 1.2 litres of gravel.  If the baskets option is selected we will supply a mixture of 1 and 2 litre baskets appropriate for the plants selected.
