White water Spearmint (Mentha cervina alba) also known as hart’s pennyroyal has attractive white flowers from June to September. It is an excellent wildlife plant attractive to pollinators, in particular bees and butterflies, and has strongly aromatic leaves. It is also a good water conditioner and tidier and less vigorous than Water mint. Also available in it’s pale blue or lilac form here.

Planting position: Marginal plant up to 5cm or damp soil in full sun or part shade
Form: 9cm in a solid pot
Recommended basket size min./ideal: 2 litre round/3.5 litre round
(Recommended basket sizes are for potting up 9cm (0.5 litre) plants only as these are supplied in solid pots. Larger sized plants are already in aquatic baskets so can go straight in the pond, however they may need potting up or splitting at some point)
