Water forget-me-not is a lovely creeping British native plant producing dainty white flowers from May right through to October. They are very good for covering the edges of the pond and will raft across the water. Really good for wildlife, it is loved by finches for the small seeds while bees and butterflies are attracted by its nectar. Also a particular favourite of newts as they like to lay their eggs in the folded leaves. Grows well in sun or shade.
Myosotis: Mouse ear referring to the shape of the leaves
