This tall native perennial prefers calm water, an upright plant with a creeping rhizome which is a strong grower but easy to control.  Lovely large open yellow buttercup like flowers produced May-September.  Good for any size pond. 

Ranunculus, little frog as they grow in wet places; lingua, tongue shaped leaves

Height: 1m

Planting position: Pond marginal shelf up to 30cm deep or very wet soil, sun or semi-shade
