A collection of 10 plants for marginal areas which includes a good interesting mix of grasses rushes and flowering plants to eventually cover between 2 – 2.5m of marginal shelves.

The plants will be selected from our range of native marginal plants and may include:

Marsh marigold, Soft rush, Cotton grass, Greater pond sedge, Pendulous sedge, Cyperus sedge, Purple loosestrife, Yellow loosestrife, Lesser spearwort, Greater spearwort, Forget-me-not, Flowering rush, Marsh woundwort, Hard rush, Water mint , Pennyroyal, Bog bean, Sweet flag, Yellow flag, Sweet galingale and Reed sweet grass.

Please use the customer comments box on the checkout page to let us know the approximate surface area of your pond so we can ensure we select appropriate plants for your size of pond.

We will endeavour to supply as much variety as possible with a minimum of five different types of plant in each pack

Plants will be supplied in 9cm pots apart from Bog been which will be bare root. 9cm plants will need to be potted up into larger aquatic baskets unless being planted into the bed of a natural pond.

This collection is available without planting baskets with baskets only or as a complete package including soil and aquatic gravel -please select  from “Collection options” box below.

Planting in baskets you would need to purchase 14.5 litres of soil and 2 litres of gravel.  If the baskets option is selected we will supply a mixture of  1 and 2 litre baskets appropriate to the plants selected with the 2 litre baskets for the taller/larger growing plants.
