Primula japonica ‘Miller’s Crimson’ (Japanese primrose) is a very pretty but robust rosette-forming primula with whorls of gorgeous glowing crimson flowers from May to June on stout stems above pale green scalloped or toothed leaves. Equally happy in full sun as long as kept damp or part shade, especially amongst ferns to provide a lovely contrast. It has an RHS AGM.
