Sneezewort (Achillea ptarmica) is an British attractive native perennial with pretty white pom-pom flowers in July and August; the leaves are long and fern like. Common in damp meadows and besides streams. This is a vigorous grower which will have a second flush of flowers in Autumn if the plant is trimmed back after the first flush of flowers. Likes a sunny position. Attractive to many insects especially hoverflies. As it is later flowering it is a useful source of nectar when other plants have finished flowering.
