Water lily ‘Rene Gerard’ is a beautiful free flowering lily with rosey pinky-red star shaped flowers lightening to flecked white to the outer petals , flowers can grow to 9″ across and the leaves which are green and almost round to 11″ when mature.  Very similar in size and colour to the Nymphaea ‘Attraction’ and can be difficult to tell apart, with the Rene having a slightly more pink hue and slightly less lightening to the outer petals.
