Corkscrew rush (Juncus effusus spiralis) is a cultivar of the Soft rush Corkscrew rush and is a very unusual small evergreen with dark green needle-like cylindrical stems that curl and twist as they grow out and up. An ideal plant for the shallows of a small pond. Although evergreen it will benefit from having its foliage cut back in early spring to encourage fresh new growth. Sun or semi shade.
