A wonderful showy plant that gives colour in late summer to early winter long after most other plants have finished and is semi-evergreen. See also Crimson flag lily (white form), Crimson flag lily coccinea and Crimson flag lily ‘Mrs Hegarty’ . Hardy to minus 10 degrees but frosts can damage flower spikes. Water well in summer and cut back any remaining growth in early spring.
