A cultivar of the native Yellow Flag iris its long erect leaves are striped green and pale-green to yellow until they mature into the summer months when they lose their variegation and then can look similar to the Yellow flag. Yellow flowers June-July. A vigorous grower so best contained in baskets in smaller ponds and then split once crowded to maintain flowering.
This iris has an RHS AGM.
