Reed canary grass (Phalaris arundinacea) is a vigorous decorative British native grass usually found in shallow areas of ponds. This grass can grow to over 2 metres in height and form dense clumps which are visited by a variety of birds for its seeds. Best panted in baskets to restrict its spread.

Form: 9cm pots or 1 litre in an aquatic basket -please select size below
Recommended basket size min./ideal: 2 litre round/5 litre square
(Recommended basket sizes are for potting up 9cm (0.5 litre) plants only as these are supplied in solid pots. Larger sized plants are already in aquatic baskets so can go straight in the pond, however they may need potting up or splitting at some point)
