Soft rush (Juncus effusus) is a tall clump-forming British native common rush with green needle-like stems forming an attractive arching habit. Each stem produces a tufty flower from May to August, starting pale green turning to darker bronze. Dead head after flowering to prevent self seeding. Sun or semi shade.
