Golden creeping jenny (Lysimachia nummularia ‘Aurea’) is a fairly vigorous evergreen creeping plant which forms mats of stems covered in golden-yellow leaves and has cup-shaped bright yellow flowers from June to September. When planted in water the leaves float otherwise it creeps along the ground making it an excellent edging plant. Works well with Creeping jenny, the bright to dark green leaves of which contrast nicely with the lighter golden version. RHS designated as Perfect for Pollinators and has an RHS AGM.
